Your events, your say
14/01/09
As Chartered Institute of Housing members in the South East, you were recently sent an opinion survey looking for your views on the type of events you would like to see during 2009.
Over 100 members responded. And of those, over 46% of you think that the highest priority for an event is the quality of the programme content. This was closely followed by the event's location. Over 77% of respondents prefer to attend seminars with practical workshops and would opt for all-day or morning seminars.
According to your responses, hot topics that will encourage you to attend events this year include:
- Sheltered housing in the future
- Customer insight
- Legislative changes resulting from the Housing and Regeneration Act 2008
- Preventing homelessness
- Affordability issues because of the credit crunch.
