You may be aware that the ODPM has recently issued the following Consultation Paper which is available on the ODPM's website at the following address:

"Anti-social Behaviour: policy and procedure - draft statutory code of guidance".

The consultation paper invites views on proposed guidance for social landlords on how they should produce their policies and procedures for tackling anti-social behaviour. The consultation is seeking comments on how useful and usable the guidance is in helping landlords to ensure their tenants have a clear understanding of what action they would take in dealing with anti-social behaviour.

The deadline for comments on this paper is 25 June 2004. If anyone would like to provide me with comments to feed into the CIH South East Regional Committee's response, which David Crosby shall be co-ordinating, can you please provide him with these, preferably by email by Friday 21 May 2004.
