CIH Housing E-zine
A free service available to all members. Supply CIH with your email address and we will send you the CIH Housing E-zine every week. The e-zine contains up-to-date housing news and views, complete with website links, CIH training and events, legal updates and access to CIH Policy Board discussions. It is supplemented by a Rent and Benefits Update every 6 to 8 weeks for those who wish to subscribe.

Careers and Professional Development Service
These services are offered free and exclusively to CIH members in partnership with Eden Brown and include a career health check, web-based career development modules, career development workshops and telephone helplines for employment law, performance management, and career action planning.
Practice Online
This service takes selected topics and brings together good practice examples plus links to relevant websites. Each topic includes links to CIH publications, training courses and events that are available at discounted rates to CIH members. Currently available topics include diversity, Supporting People, governance, empty property strategies, rent arrears, anti-social behaviour, health and housing, quality and customer care, BME Issues, tenant involvement, neighbourhood management and sustainable lettings.
HousingVIEW
This is a new weekly email news service from Sweet and Maxwell covering the key legal developments in housing law. It includes news of new legislation, key cases, and government materials, with succinct explanations and web references for further research. The material is written by Arden Chambers, the acknowledged leaders in the field.
Harrogate discounts
All CIH members are entitled to a £65 discount on the full week delegate rate for Harrogate 2007. CIH also offers a reduced day delegate rate for Student and Corporate members.
You also benefit from a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) scheme for Associate, Corporate and Fellow Members - including an individual CPD record which can be updated online and downloaded in a CV format, and a searchable online directory of CIH members and a facility for members to update their details online.
