Successful Presidential appeal beats target
Steve Benson, last year's CIH President, closed his presidential charity appeal at the end of the year. Steve set an objective to raise £40,000 during his presidential year for the Crisis Changing Lives project.
Jeremy Underdown, Estate Manager for Portsmouth City Council, was awarded the highest marks on last year's Diploma of Higher Education in Housing. And, as a result, was awarded a CIH Achievement Award at the House of Commons.
New and innovative approaches to delivering houses
Reporting on the South East Housing Coalition and Kent County Council seminar on developing new and innovative approaches in housing delivery.
Announcing our South African housing study tour
Based on the success of our last housing study tour to South Africa which included attending the SAHF International Conference in Cape Town, we're organising another trip in October 2010.
